What is EVChargeSpot?
EVChargeSpot is a straightforward web tool for finding electric vehicle charge points near any UK location. Enter a postcode or town, or tap "use my location", and you'll see charging points on an interactive map — including connector types, speeds, and network operators.
It's designed to be the fastest way to answer the question: where can I charge my car?
No account. No app. No nonsense. Most EV charging tools put a login screen between you and the information you need. EVChargeSpot doesn't. Open the page, search your location, done.
Where does the data come from?
Charge point data is sourced from Open Charge Map, a community-maintained open registry of EV charging locations worldwide. It covers tens of thousands of UK charge points across every major and independent network, updated continuously by contributors and network operators.
Who built this?
EVChargeSpot is built and maintained by Alpha Pariah Studios, a small independent software studio based in Wrexham, Wales. We build practical, free-to-use automotive utility tools for UK drivers.
Our other tools include MOTReminder — a free MOT checker and reminder service — and TyreScan, a tyre age and size checker.
What's coming next?
EVChargeSpot is in early release. We're working on a number of improvements including a direct API integration for faster, more detailed charge point data, filtering by connector type and charging speed, and saved favourite locations.
